About Coaching
Empowerment coaching is a process that focuses on the
whole self. It emphasizes action and uncovering learning
that can lead to more fulfillment, more balance and a
more effective process of living—helping people
realize their dreams. People come to coaching to:
- Make changes they’ve been unable
to make anywhere else
- Achieve specific goals
- Improve self-image
- Reduce stress and create more balance
- Create a better quality of life, more
fulfillment
- Reduce and eliminate self-sabotaging
behavior
Coaching vs. Therapy
Coaching focuses on present-day action, not on the individual’s
emotional history. It is about challenging and pursuing
the obstacles that are holding people back from creating
a life they love. Those who benefit from coaching are:
- In career transition
- Going through divorce
- Struggling with a decision
- Experiencing life changes
- Seeking their life purpose
- Exploring their spirituality
Coaching Philosophy
"I believe that each of us has within us the answers
we need to effectively live our lives. If I were to
ask you what you needed to do to get where you want
to go, or to make your life better, it’s very
likely that if an answer didn’t come right away,
that it would just be a matter of sitting quietly for
a moment before it did. As a coach, I don’t give
you the answers; I don’t tell you how to live
your life. You already know how to do that. My job as
a coach is to help you access the answers already inside
of you and to help you put them into action."
Group Coaching
Group coaching is differentiated from workshops and
classes in that the emphasis is on an inner process
rather than the exchange of learning and experiences
with other participants. Jaqui’s group coaching
opportunities rely on coaching processes and tools to
facilitate change. |
