Breath of Life: Strategies
for Stress Reduction
The safety procedures while flying on an airplane include
putting on an oxygen mask if the cabin pressure changes.
You are instructed to tighten your mask first before
helping children or those around you. Stress reduction
works in much the same way. Taking care of yourself
first provides the energy and vitality to care for others.
In this workshop you will learn what stress is, how
it affects you and what you can do about it. Specific
techniques are taught for relaxation, breathing and
meditation in class as well as a process for making
these positive changes a part of your every day life.
Speaking with Confidence
Surveys say that fear of speaking in public is the #1
greatest fear people have. Some people even fear public
speaking more than death! Are you finding your career
path and desire for personal expression blocked by such
fear? This course will help you identify and overcome
your specific fears as well as address the basic elements
of public speaking such as gestures, voice, body movement
and speech organization.
Change Your Thinking: Change
Your Life
You may have heard the saying, “Change
your thinking, Change your life”. This workshop
covers the basics of cognitive theory, helping you identify
your perceptions, beliefs, interpretations, self-talk
and automatic thoughts. You learn a process for challenging
irrational beliefs and replacing them with more rational,
positive statements.
Self-Esteem: Strategies for Self-Acceptance
The key to success in career,
relationships and any other life pursuit is a healthy
and empowering self-image. This workshop explores the
topic of self-esteem and how we can use our feelings
and thoughts to live more authentically and improve
our relationships with others. Planning positive self-care
actions is an important focus of this workshop.
Reclaiming Your
Inner Child
Most of us grow up learning that some characteristics
are positive and acceptable and some are not. As a result,
we may go through life accessing only a portion of our
multi-faceted personalities. In this workshop, you will
reclaim, re-parent and champion your inner child by
identifying the core beliefs and personal influences
that shaped who you are today.
Strategies for
Dealing with Conflict: Assertive Living
Assertiveness is self-esteem in action and requires
conscious choices when interacting with others in our
every day lives. Learn the difference between Assertiveness,
Non-assertiveness and Aggressiveness and your own patterns
of behavior. Examine the blocks to Assertive behavior,
and learn and practice new empowering behaviors.

Jaqui helps individuals work through the obstacles
preventing them from creating lives they love. If it
were easy to make changes, we’d all have completed
our goals. It is the process of discerning direction,
identifying and eliminating obstacles and taking action
that gets us where we want to go. Jaqui facilitates
the process of establishing goals, accountability and
creating realistic plans to complete them.
Group
Coaching processes are used to help individuals seeing
themselves as whole and complete. Through exercises
and guided visualization, individuals are guided through
a process of reframing and reinterpreting negative experiences
and embracing their whole spectrum of characteristics
and feelings.
